Essential Products We Recommend for Sailing and Travel Life
Whether we’re living off-grid on our sailboat or parked up in a scenic spot in the motorhome, there are certain items we always take with us. These products have been personally used and tested on the road and at sea — and we wouldn’t travel without them.

Starlink 12v Adapter
We bought the Starlink Mini because it was advertised as 12V, and it does run off 12V — but it needs 60W to start up, so most 12V systems need a step-up. This adaptor handles that perfectly, allowing us to run it reliably from our 12V supply.
It’s solidly built, with a 3-metre lead and both USB-C (67W) and USB-A (30W) outputs, totalling 97W shared between ports. The built-in voltmeter with a bright LCD makes it easy to monitor battery levels, even in strong daylight.
A dependable, well-designed solution for powering Starlink Mini at sea.
