Great sail down to Saint-Cast-le-Guildo! Starfish Enterprise decided to turn off our AIS promptly as we left Guernsey waters (she likes to move in the shadows...). But we made it here safely and even spotted a cool performance foiling catamaran that quite literally ran 'sail circles' around us; it was going at such a speed!

This is a very serene little marina, accessible at all tides, but we made it just before high tide. Lots of green and red fishing flags made the entry quite confusing, but we made it in without any mishaps.

We had a lovely two days here exploring the little seaside town with a sandy beach and picturesque promenade-style walk to town.

The boys made friends with a cat we called ‘Feisty Bob,’ and Lachlan learned to say ‘Can I please pet your dog?’ in French: ‘Puis-je caresser votre chien s'il vous plaît?’

There are lots of cafes, bars, and patisseries, but not so many supermarkets. We definitely need to find a large supermarket at the next port to stock up on French nibbles 🧀🍷🍪🥖🥐
