Gijón & Cudillero

We’ve been enjoying exploring the northern coast of Spain. Definitely getting warmer and more frequent dips in the sea.

Our first stop was Gijón, a really lively town with a nice but busy beach nearby. We had pizza with friends on Patryce and the boys enjoyed jumping off the harbour wall.

We then moved on to a small fishing village, Cudillero which was gorgeous, nestled in the mountains it was very protected and although we found near impossible to secure on to a bouy we eventually got settled and had to move the following day as we were on a fishing bouy 😆

You take a walk through a tunnel in the mountain to the little town which a maze of alley ways and hidden uphill paths. Much to the kids delight we did lots of uphill walks to reach beautiful lookouts.

Next stop was Viveiro
